He was born in Fremont, Ohio on October 7th, 1976. He was named "Mr. Football" in high school. But also contributed in basketball and track, earning two varsity letters in each. Charles Woodson is the only player in NCAA division 1 Football to win a Heisman Trophy Award as a defensive player. He was the 4th selection in the 1998 NFL draft to the Oakland Raiders. He had a sucessful career there, but on April 26, 2006 he signed with the Green Bay Packers. In three seasons with Green bay, he has 19 of his 36 career total interceptions and returned 7 of them back for touchdowns. In the 2009 season Charles Woodson is a favorable Defensive MVP candidate.
