He was born in Chico, California on December 2, 1983. He attended Pleasant Valley High School in Chico. He attended Butte College for the first year and got recognized for California's football coaches from there, and then got a scholarship. Rodgers played well in college and got drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2005, the 24th overall pick. He sat behind the legend Brett Favre his two years. But when Favre left Green Bay, Rodgers became the starter and is a 2009 Pro Bowl Selection.
